I have not had that problem. Sometimes the server is slow to react to the public search. I would refresh my connection and try the search again and it would be fine.

I also went ahead and sent a recommended invite to for your email.

I’m only on the Developer Sandbox [http://wavesandbox.com], but I’ve noticed tonight that “with:public” is only displaying public waves I’ve already viewed–none that are new! Are you having the same trouble on the official server?

Not to be a beggar, but I’d love a wave.google.com invite if you have one to spare. I’m curious on how it’s different than the sandbox, and wouldn’t mind having a contact to test features with.

So when the $.05 discount is discontinued back to store bags? Oh, wait you can’t. Banned. What if you get more groceries than you have bags? Buy another reuseable bag? Not very green or economical because you may not need to get as many groceries every time.

I’m more angry that they would ban paper bags. Paper, not necessarily the process, is one of the easiest renewable materials.

You can’t tax people to become green.

In all my desire to say screw you to the tree huggers, I’ll admit I actually have reusable bags (hey, I like the environment, just not the tree huggers). I’ve discovered one of the biggest incentives is the 5 cents a bag discount they give you – that’s right, economics. Amazingly, no matter how many laws you pass you won’t get most people to agree or comply, but throw in 5 cents and the world will follow you.

Me too, and these things seem to be slipping away from his grasp these days, don’t they! I wonder how his opponent would’ve dealt with the unforseen things that have resulted from the “bail-out.” I wonder how finishing the unfinished federal budget would be playing out right now.

I haven’t yet given up hope that things will eventually begin to turn the way of his idealism which I never really thought was contrary to the open market system. My thoughts were more that we were drifting away from that by the subsidies we were giving to out-source a lot of work overseas.

Been wonderin’ what your thoughts have been of late. Hopefully, you have so much work that you’re too busy to pay attention to all the shenanigans!

Nualali, you were probably more right then I… I called it because I am cynical. You called it when the writing was on the wall.

Although I knew long before today. Anyone that can draw 10’s of thousands of people to rallies across the country. That is a trend and a message that you cannot stop.

Are you kidding me? Did you just throw in the towel? Ok, I’ll go ahead and admit it, Obama has won the election. But I don’t think it was McCain’s “demeanor” that lost it for him. After the initial excitement by the ultra-conservative over Palin, I really think it’s Palin that caused the loss. Imagine, if he really wanted to go with a female running mate, why not Christine Todd Whitman – New Jersey’s Governor for 8 years, former director of EPA, has an energy lobbying group, has advocated for nuclear power, a Board of Director member for Texas Instruments!!! Engery and Economy – and I guarantee not one “I can see Russia from my house” type comment. I guess if I’m blaming it on Palin I’ve got to blame McCain since he picked her. She’s here in my town tomorrow, I can hardly wait to hear the sound bites…
