You Can’t Make This Up…
Everyone knows the story of the ‘Three Little Pigs’? The last time you told that story or heard it, did you ever say to yourself…“That’s Offensive!” If you did, I’d have to call you cookoo.
The story of the ‘Three Little Pigs’ was redone. They named it ‘The Three Little Cowboy Builders’. The revised story has recieved a lot of praise. As of late, however, the book has been rejected by the Bett Award judges because:
1. They would not be able to recommend the story to Muslims.
2. The use of pig’s raises cultural issues in the Asian community.
3. It may also alienate part of the workforce…building trades.
Here is the money shot of the story:[via BBC News 'Three Little Pigs 'too offensive']
…The judges criticised the stereotyping in the story of
the unfortunate pigs: “Is it true that all builders are cowboys,
builders get their work blown down, and builders are like pigs?”…
I have been in the building industry for 15 years. Frankly, MOST builders are pigs! In fact, we take pride in being ‘piggy’. (i.e.: You are being ‘piggy’ with that change order. Translation: You are charging a lot.)

Whiskey
On the last day of school, the children brought gifts to their teacher. The florist’s son brought the teacher a bouquet of flowers. The candy store owner’s daughter gave the teacher a pretty box of candy.
Then the liquor store owner’s son brought up a big, heavy box. The teacher noticed that it was leaking a little bit. She touched a drop of liquid with her finger and tasted it.
“Is it wine?” she guessed. “No”, the boy replied. She tasted another drop and asked, “Is it champagne?” “No”, said the little boy…..”It’s a puppy.”
When Err America Trips A Republican Mugged’em
You would have to listen to Air America, or read the Daily Kos to know this was going on. I stumbled across it last night on (talented and beautiful) Michelle Malkin’s site. Basically what happened is, a radio host on Air America fell down (in the spirit of assumptions are allowed, she was drunk), knocked some teeth out, and was not able to do her job on Monday. Her guest host informed her listeners that she had been mugged. The host went as far as to blame a wingnut! Who was incited by the hate speech of (insert right leaning talk radio host here) and their objective… to shut down the opposition.
The mugging…fabricated!
The laugh out loud craziness is how the left wing bloggers (and commenter’s) rationalize their false accusations. criminal.
UPDATE: The Moderate Voice seems to be reprimanding bloggers for condemning Rhodes, and her guest host, for dubbing her ‘accident’ as a mugging by a right-wingger. Rhodes is upset because …no one had interviewed her and she herself had no proof that anyone on the right was involved or that she had indeed been mugged… The conclusion paragraph is the best because Rhodes explanation is still [paraphrase] …somehow I was bumped or push down from behind and THOUGHT she was mugged…[excerpt taken from The Moderate Voice found via memeorandum]

Pirate Attacks On The Rise
The article, on Fox News, says that pirate attacks have risen by 14% worldwide?
…A total of 198 attacks on
ships were reported between January and September this year, up from
174 in the same period in 2006, the IMB said.…It said a total of 15 vessels were hijacked, 63 crew kidnapped and three killed. [via Fox News]

How many BAD ‘Jack Sparrow’ impersonators are there in Malaysia?
What is the ratio of ‘Jack Sparro’s’ to ‘Elvis’s’?
198 attacks on a total of 15 vessels?
How often was the SAME ship attacked? Hijacked must be the keyword.
IMB’s recommendation was for ships to stay as far off the shore as possible… Is that because the pirates are on dinghies?

![]()
The House Homeland Security Committee organized a study of emergency preparedness at large venues. Before sending aides to the races they were advised to be vaccinated.
Top 5 Vaccinations
5. Hepatitis A
4. Hepatitis B
3. Tetanus
2. Diphtheria
1. Influenza
These are common before traveling to a third world country.
I wonder if Rep. Bennie Thompson was vaccinated… before sticking his foot in mouth… he was probably more worried about the other feet that will be inserted in, or elsewhere.
