It’s All Monitoring, Where Is The Retweet?
There are several ways to monitor your social stream but why isn't there anyway to share it? By sharing, I am thinking beyond having it duplicated to Friendfeed. I want to be able to post the interesting Tweets I see and that spark additional thoughts or opinions. Since everything IS about monitoring I am satisfied I won't miss anything. When I'm watching.
My Social Inbox: Threadsy
- When you receive an email in your inbound window click on it. In the unbound window you'll see all the social networks that user is subscribed to. Making it easy, if you weren't aware, where to see their most current status updates. It's a nice feature when you think about it.
- Receive and @reply in Twitter and the unbound window will show the stream from that user that sent you the @reply.
- While watching the Twitter and Facebook stream in the unbound window you'll see a small preview of attached pic's or video's
- Compose and respond to emails through Threadsy
Free Legos, No Sale: Sad Saga of the Full-Scale Lego House
I think I know how this feels. I have built cargo planes, semi-trucks, bungalows, cars and even a windmill. Just to have my son tear them apart. He doesn’t even bother to try and separate them by color or size.
The home was built for a BBC show Toy Stories. Let me know when & where I can get my hands on this episode?
Modern Family: Architecture Please
One of my new favorite shows of this season is Modern Family. The show has been a comedy steam train. It started out well but slow. Now after 5 or 6 episodes it is getting close to cruising speed. Wait, it’s gaining steam.
That’s not the reason for this post though. I want to know about the architecture. Jay and Gloria live in a beautiful house. Slick and modern. Unfortunately, and frankly a big mistake on ABC’s part, they do not have any clips featuring the homes. When you think about your family, or childhood doesn’t the home you live in slip-in? The ABC site gives you a glimpse into the families with pic’s and on the couch interviews, but as a viewer I want more.
I want to know the architects and designers of all the homes. If anyone notices any other blogs that features them, hook me up with a link here. Thanks.
Balloon Boy Parody: I’m In a Box!
I especially like this because I am so BITTER! I believed those douche-bags when I saw them interviewed on the Today Show.
RUMOR: Google to Launch Its Own Phone Through Retailers
I don’t know if I should get excited about this or not.
Before I do, and maybe I need to read the article from TheStreet, Can I buy the phone from the retailer and get service through my [preferred provider]?
Until then. I can’t say if it is smart or not.
I will predict Google will team up with HTC. I wouldn’t be surprised if Google purchases them. If not become a controlling majority shareholder.
John Mayer Releases Augmented Reality Music Video
I like how John decides to take chances on technology. His way without compromising his passion for his art.
‘Clean Coal’ for Energy? Not So Fast DOE. : Gas 2.0
Finally, I am hearing someone else say it:
“From an Administration that is attempting to reduce America’s dependence on oil through greenhouse gas emissions reductions, this is one of the—excuse me—stupidest ideas our country has had… at least for today. Look people, coal is NOT clean, even though the coal industry wants you to believe it is,”
This isn’t the only obvious fact that is overlooked with hopes to call ourselves GREEN that Joanna Schroeder at gas2.0 points out:
“One of the biggest criticisms of electric vehicles (EVs) other than concerns about battery production and recycling, is the fact that a large majority of the EVs that are currently (and in the future) being charged are using electricity created from dirty coal. In many regards, cite pundits of coal use, this negates some of the positive the benefits derived from electric vehicles.”
You know what. Just read the article. I don’t want them ban me from their site because I am lifting all the good parts.

So I downloaded Firefox. Logged in and got the Posterous Bot to respond as it should. Now I am back in Chrome. This time when I add the Posterous Bot to this Wave. It gave me the confirmation that it will post correctly.

Let’s Try This Again ((tags:wave))
Earlier today I tried to post to Posterous, using the posterous-robot@appspot.com robot, through Google Wave. It didn’t work. I tried all kinds of things. It wasn’t until I went back to the post How To Write A Blog Using Google Wave Robot,by the robot’s author, that I realized I needed to change my browser. Change my browser? I am using Chrome!
